I watched the movie "Freedom Writers" last night and was so incredibly moved. Words cannot express the emotions that filled me as I was sucked into the reality that still exists for many. Not only do I feel blessed, but inspired to do and be more and make a difference. It was a shocking film, yet testified of what I have always felt and believed: we are all God's children, and He loves us. Really, we are so blessed.

I haven't seen that movie. I'll have to put it on our Blockbuster list. So sorry that your little guy still gets sick every month.
thanks for the info about that movie. I have looked at it before but never chosen to bring it home. Next time I will :)
Your home schooling sounds better than real school! I don't think the nile is on my kindergartner's list of subjects. Very cool! We have donwe the butterfly thing three years in a row now and my kiddos LOVE it. I am sorry about your sick tummy. I was feeling like I wanted to maybe have another baby, then I got the 24 hour flu and thought better of my decision. I hate vomiting.
I am so sorry about your son's cyclical fever. I really wish they could figure out what it was.
Freedom Writer's was a good movie wasn't it. Didn't you want to slap some of those teachers!
I hope Mr.T feels better and this mysterious illness just disappears.
I have never hear of the movie you mentioned. I will have to look into it.
I wish the best for your little one!
And I have heard from a friend of mine that was home-schooled that it can be the way to go in certain circumstances.
As for that movie, I couldn't agree with you more. It is one of those movies that everyone should see, like August Rush, or maybe even Pay It Forward. Wonderfully inspirational, and world changing concepts are what I enjoy seeing in movies :D
Please, if you have time do come and check out my blog as well as the testimony that I have posted on there...I am trying to find other LDS blogs that I find are of interest and that I can post on my own for the members of my ward. Again, I would love it if you could stop by!
God Bless,
Tony
Laura's mom here...
It must take a lot out of your little guy and you when he goes through the fevers. Does he experience pain in his muscles and joints when that happens? Is he exhausted during that time? It can take so long to make an accurate diagnosis with some chronic illnesses. He will be in my prayers.

Can Mr. T and I be steroid buddies? Does he still have to take those icky meds? It's no fun at all! I hope you can find some answers some time!!
