I've come to the conclusion that balance in life is only attained when one limits the extent and experiences of ones life. Maybe not. P...

I always love reading about their family. I sure do have a lot of respect for them (and for some reason reading that she's been pregnant for over 11 years of her life makes my pregnancy not seem so bad...ha ha).
Thanks for this link! I had never heard of this family and really enjoyed reading about their lives. That is amazing.
thanks for the link. molly has told me about how she's been inspired by them as well and i've been eager to learn more, but didn't have anything to go on. they remind me of the Gilbreth family. "Cheaper By the Dozen." Nothing like the modern movie, a lot like the b/w version. If you haven't read it all you in cyberspace, i HIGHLY reommend it, easy read. i just recently finished it for the second time with chad and he loved it as well. and i am an avid NON reader.
I watched their TV show, and it was very interesting and enlightening. Having come from a rather large family (14) myself, I definitely appreciate many aspects of a large family. I love big families but do find myself thinking of some of the downsides--children required to grow up too quickly to help take care of all the things the parents needs help with, the parents ability to give each child individual attention, etc. They definitely seem to be doing such a great job and the kids do see really happy! I think she was pregnant with #17 on the show so I see they are going to continue adding!
I do think this is a neat family! I've read about them when they appear on the news about having a new baby and it's neat to read about them. I think having that many kids would be so fun...it's just convincing the husband... :)
We've seen their show a few times...pretty amazing what they can do.
I was really impressed (and shocked) when I checked out their website. It's unreal!! It's really amazing, especially that they've had 18 children in 20 years. WOW.
I guess I sort of got a little mixed up and thought they were insane after I read their "ABOUT US" section. It was not their FAULT for the miscarriage yet they blamed it on themselves and asked for forgiveness. WOAH. To each his own, I guess.
